We had a web hosting disaster a while back and were forced to move hosts. In the process, we've upgraded to Drupal 7. Some content may have been misplaced. However, the improvements that have come with the upgrade are worth the trouble. Two things in particular jump out.
Woodstock Tea Shop has just been converted from a static website to a content management website with full e-commerce through Ubercart running on Drupal. This was a very rewarding project - working with a very motivated client with a existing customer base.
We were able to keep the general design concept and convert it, with improvements, to a Drupal theme. Most of the work was in developing the e-commerce portion of the website and importing existing products. That's a lot of tea!
There are always the do-it-yourself types. If you are one who prefers to save some cash by implementing your own website, then using pre-designed website templates may be your cup of tea. Professional web designers may also wish to use a website template in order to save money for a client.
This is my first offering based on Drupal 5.0RC1. It sports the contributed Image module and the Front Page module but not much else that isn't core.
