My colleagues at Drupal have been visiting my website and voting on my polls. I suspect that is the source of the 30 votes for the "I do have a CMS" choice.

Most of the rest of the votes fall between the first three chioces and only a handful said that they didn't know what a CMS was.

This speaks to the common concerns about migrating a website to a CMS or restructuring a website in general.

Too difficult.

Setting up a CMS website can be difficult for the average person, or even a person who is technically inclined.

I don't have time.

It can be a significant time investsment to evaluate, install, configure and design a website powered by one of the many content management solutions out there. Most people will find that they need professional help and support.

Too expensive.

This is why most will feel that this type of transition in too expensive.

The good news is that there a free open source solution availabe that will meet almost any need. The time and money saved in managing a competed CMS website can make it a worthwhile investment.
